make it work

Few things get me out of bed this early (yes, 7:20am is EARLY), but I want to get back into blogging and thought that doing it first thing would be a great way to start my day. It kind of reminds me of when I would wake up early to play Hoops on my Nintendo before school.

So Project Runway has always been a favorite show of mine. This season, I'm not really loving any of the designers, which makes it slightly less interesting. If I had to pick, I guess I'd go with Ana, but her accent annoys me. Last season, I loved Gretchen. I know she wasn't a fan fave, but I loved her designs, her orangey-red lipstick and the drama she brought to every episode. So yesterday when I was perusing Design*Sponge, I was delighted to come across photos of Gretchen's NYC apartment.

While I usually post spaces that I would wanna live in, I'm posting Gretchen's because I admire how uniquely "her" it is. I way way way prefer homes that are a reflection of the person living there vs. the cookie cutter designs you see so often on HGTV (blue walls, bluepillows, blue rug and... *gasp* some red flowers for a pop of color!). So yeah, below are pics of a very unique crib that has personality and a style all it's own.
