I mean, come on. Is there anything better than waking up to a fresh dusting of snow? No, there's really not. So unless it's snowing in, like, June, you're probably going to get a snow-inspired blog post every time the pretty white flakes come down.
If you are one of the Minnesotan's that gripe all winter about the cold and snow and moan "whyyy do we live here?" I hope I can change your mind. Try and think of the positives. Do you ever notice how the light reflects off the snow in the morning, sending an etherial blue/grey glow into your home? Or that awesome crunchy sound it makes beneath your feet? Or how it gives you an excuse to stay in your PJs all day cozied under a pile of blankets watching mooovies? See!? Snow is the tits!
Er, I guess this blog isn't about the weather, so I need to make the turn into interior
design now. Snow is white. So are the spaces below. Whenever in doubt, go white. It instantly opens up a room and makes everything feel fresh and clean. Got a 4 year old niece and 2 year old nephew that wreak havoc every time they visit your pad? Then be sure to cover your new white linen sofa with a tarp of some sort or you're gonna be left with a big glaring chocolate stain that you'll obsess over every time you walk by (Madelyn, if you're reading this, I still love you).
